At MyFreshDash, we believe lazy weekends deserve seriously delicious meals — without all the hassle. You know those mornings when cooking feels like a chore, but your cravings want more than just plain instant noodles? That’s where our Spicy Spam Bomb Ramen comes in — bold, savory, and ready in just 5 minutes.
This recipe is our go-to when we want to turn an ordinary ramen pack into something unforgettable. We’re talking crispy Spam, fragrant scallions, and a broth that hits you with spicy, deep umami flavors. We used Shin Ramyun for this version (because it's a flavor beast), but you can swap in any ramen you love — the choice is yours.

🛒 What You’ll Need (1 Serving)
1 pack of instant ramen (Shin Ramyun is our pick)
100g Spam (about 1/2 can)
1 green onion (scallion)
0.5 tbsp Korean chili powder (gochugaru)
Water (about 50ml more than ramen packet instructions)

Tip: Spam brings a salty punch and chili powder adds heat — that extra splash of water balances it all perfectly.
🍳 How We Make Spam Bomb Ramen
1. Crush the Spam
Toss half a can of Spam into a ziplock bag and crush it gently with your hands. We want juicy chunks — not paste — so don’t overdo it.

2. Slice Up the Good Stuff
Chop up a fresh scallion (you’ll want a generous handful) and slice the remaining Spam into thin strips for topping.

3. Sizzle the Spam & Chili
In a hot pot, add the crushed Spam and sprinkle 0.5 tbsp of gochugaru. Sauté until the Spam gets a golden edge and the chili’s smoky aroma fills the air.(You don’t need extra oil — Spam does the work.)

4. Build the Broth
Pour in water and bring it to a rolling boil. Add the ramen noodles and seasoning packet, letting them soak up all that flavorful broth.

5. Finish Strong with Scallions & Spam Strips
Just before the noodles are fully cooked, toss in your sliced scallions and Spam strips. Give it a gentle stir and watch the colors pop.

✨ Why This Recipe is a FreshDash Favorite
The crispy Spam bits infuse the broth with rich, meaty flavor, while the fresh scallions cut through with a bright, zesty note. It’s bold, it’s hearty, and it’s outrageously satisfying for something you whipped up in 5 minutes.
Fresh Hack: When the noodles are gone, throw in a scoop of rice. You’ll thank us when you savor that last spoonful of spicy Spam-soaked broth.
