USES
Rinse rice cakes in cold water, then soak briefly if they’re very firm. For tteokbokki, simmer in broth with gochujang, sugar, and veggies until soft and saucy. For tteokguk, add to simmering broth and cook until the slices turn soft and slightly translucent. Always cook thoroughly before eating.
